$1000 to B.A.R.K. Foundation at UBCO

We recently donated $1000 to the B.A.R.K. Foundation at UBCO in Syd’s name. This is something Sydney loved and used while she was studying there.

B.A.R.K. is a research-driven program devoted to exploring the role of therapy dogs in fostering well-being on campus and in the community. Designed to support the emotional well-being of university students grappling with challenges around homesickness, social isolation, and integration into the university community. Operating with over 20 volunteers students and over 60 K9’s and their handlers each year. Run specifically to give students, who are often at a more difficult point in their life and higher risk age, a proven way to significantly reduce stress and improve their well-being from just one visit.
